Brief Information about Odisha CM Kisan Yojana 2024 – The government has been continuously active for the interests of farmers and development of agriculture in the state, as agriculture remains the main factor in the socio-economic well-being of most of the population of the state. More than 60% of the workforce is dependent on agriculture for their livelihood and most of them are small and marginal farmers, who are always in financial difficulty to do their agricultural work. Apart from this, there is a large group of landless farmer families, who are engaged in agricultural activities as their main occupation and are dependent on wages. To overcome these difficulties of the farming community of the state, the government has implemented the Krishak Kalyan Yojana named CM Kisan from the State Plan Fund. The main objective of this scheme is to accelerate agricultural prosperity in the state and reduce poverty. This scheme is progressive and inclusive. It includes 92% of the farmers of the state, loanee and non-loanee farmers and landless farmer families.

• Small & Marginal farmers of rural area.
• Landless Agricultural Households (labourers without land in rural areas whose primary source of income is agriculture)
• The applicant must be an Odishan citizen and permanent resident for both components.
• The recipients’ bank accounts that were seeded with Aadhaar will get a direct transfer of the funds.

Exclusion Criteria for CM-Kisan Odisha 2024

Exclusion parameters adopted for sanitization in CM Kisan:

• Minor/Below 18 years of age
• Medium/Large farmers
• Multiple members from one family
• Farmers not having valid ration card.
• Farmers belonging to urban areas
• The farmer or any member of their family who pays income taxes, is employed by the government, a PSU, or another agency, including pensioners and retired personnel
• Death case.
• Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with any Professional bodies.
• Former and present holders of constitutional posts, former and present Ministers / State Ministers and former/present Members of Lok Sabha / Rajya Sabha / State Legislative Assemblies /State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.

Benefits of CM Kisan Odisha Yojana

Under Odisha CM Kisan Yojana, the following benefits are provided to the eligible. Under Odisha CM Kisan Scheme, the following benefits will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries of odisha:

• Small and marginal farmers in rural areas will get Rs 4,000/- per year for two crop seasons under CM Kisan and Rs 6,000/- per year (for 3 quadrants) under PM Kisan, a total of Rs 10,000/- per year from both the schemes.
• Medium and large farmers living in urban areas and holding all types of land will get Rs 6,000 per year (in 3 installments) under PM-KISAN as they are eligible only under PM-KISAN.
• Under CM-Kisan, financial assistance of Rs 12,500 will be provided in 3 installments to landless farmer families under livelihood support.

The assistance amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s account online (DBT mode)

• Visit the Official Website – https://cmkisan.odisha.gov.in/
• After this, click on “Farmer Registration” option at the top of the homepage.
• Then accept the declaration and click “Proceed“.
• Applicant enter his/her “Aadhaar Number“, “Captcha” and click on “Get OTP“.
• Then enter the “OTP” and Click “Verify“, (OTP will sent to your aadhaar registered mobile number.)
• Again enter your “Mobile Number” and Click on “Get Mobile OTP“.
• After that enter the “OTP” & click on “Verify“.
• Then enter the applicant details and “Submit“
• After Submit Printout the Acknowledgement Slip.
